The catalogue, which accompanied the exhibition Panels of saints on Catalan tiles: art and popular devotion, brings together a selection of religious imagery made up of more than 140 Barcelona ceramic panels, dated from the 17th to the 19th centuries, from both private and institutional collections. These pieces, in addition to presiding over spaces of worship, also decorated the walls of traditional country houses (masies), squares and streets, gaining a special dimension as small works of popular art.
